Southern Cape Girls Bracket Championship Game – Nazareth Academy (Pa.) 45, Friends Central (Pa.) 43: Friends Central stormed back from an 11-point deficit after three quarters by scoring the first 12 points of the fourth period to take a one-point lead, but Nazareth’s Jessica Sylvester sank a pair of free throws with 24 seconds to play to give her team back the lead for good as Nazareth (5-2) won a thrilling bracket title game. Sylvester finished with 16 points and Maggie Borski added 13 points for the winners. Monaye Merritt pumped in 17 points and Emily Brodsky chipped in 13 points for FC (6-2).
