Seashore Cup Boys Bracket Championship Game – Holy Cross 61,
Communications Tech (PA) 57: Justin Swidowski shot 12 for 15 from the floor for
the game and scored 15 of his game-high 25 points in the second quarter to help
Holy Cross (5-0) win the bracket title. The Lancers outscored Communications
Tech 21-6 in the second quarter, only to see the Phoenix retake the lead with a 20-10
third-quarter burst. Holy Cross rallied again in the fourth, going on a 21-12
spurt to start the period to finally take control of the game. Mark Singer
added 17 points, six assists and four steals and Quincy Young chipped in 11
points off the bench for the winners. Communications Tech (9-1) had four players
in double figures – Andrew “Scootie” Randall (15), Antonio Monroe (12), Chris
Jones (10) and Emanuel Jordan.
