John Carlson Memorial Girls Bracket – Holy Spirit 47, Lenape 46: Holy Spirit ran out to a 19-3 lead to start the game but then had to fight back from a four-point fourth-quarter deficit following a strong Lenape comeback to get the victory. With her team trailing by one at 40-39, Sarah Marakas hit a three-point shot with 2:44 to go in the game to give the Spartans (3-0) the lead for good. Tenisha Mobley made 8 of 11 shots and scored 18 points and Raina Floyd added 10 points for Holy Spirit, which will play Williamstown or Archbishop Ryan (Pa.) in the bracket title game Saturday, Dec. 27 at 6:30 p.m. Christina Foggie poured in 26 points and Advia Campbell added 12 points for the Indians (2-1). Moira Anthony had a chance to win the game at the buzzer for Lenape, but her three-point shot from the left baseline bounced off the back of the rim.
