Beach Cup Girls Bracket – Friends Central (Pa.) 48, Mainland 31: Friends Central ran its record to an impressive 12-0 after taking immediate control by holding Mainland to just two first-half field goals. Monaye Merritt canned 18 points, Crystal Ross added 13 points and nine rebounds and Talia East contributed 10 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots for the winners, who will play Merion Mercy in the bracket title game Monday, Dec. 29 at 5:30 p.m. Mainland (2-2) got 10 points and 10 rebounds from Keelin McGee.
