Andrew Alameno Memorial Girls Island Championship Game – Wildwood Catholic 46, Wildwood 33: Emily Whissell sank 12 of 16 free throws en route to a game-high 18 points to lead Wildwood Catholic, which pulled away in the second half after trailing by two points at the break to win the Alameno game for the second straight year. Maggie Senatore added eight points and 12 rebounds for the Crusaders (2-1), who scored 26 of their 46 points from the foul line. Wildwood (1-2), which made only eight field goals in the game, got 16 points from Loretta Kelly.
