Andrew Alameno Memorial Boys Island Championship Game – Wildwood 51, Wildwood Catholic 33: Wildwood erupted out of the gate by scoring the first 12 points of the game and never looked back, en route to snapping a six-game losing streak to the Crusaders dating back to 2004. The Warriors (1-2) sank 6 of 13 three-point shots and forced 14 Wildwood Catholic turnovers in the first half to run out to a 31-8 halftime edge. Rick Palmer posted game highs of 16 points and four steals, Donny DeLeo added 15 points and Matt Schiff chipped in 10 points and nine rebounds to pace Wildwood, which won the Alameo game for the first time since 2004. Julian Miller led Wildwood Catholic (0-3) with 11 points.
